We’re used to seeing expiry dates on our packaging. Sure, this guac is going to go musty if I don’t eat it before next Monday. But what about the packaging itself?
In a proactive idea for the environment (client = Mother Nature), I wanted to draw attention to the time it’ll take for the packaging of our goods to decompose in landfill. Next to the standard expiry date will appear a ‘decays by’ date. This will indicate how long it’ll take to fully break down.
It’ll draw consumers’ attention to how unsustainable so much packaging is. Then, it’ll prompt retailers to keep this number as low as possible.
